Ingredients

- 2 filet mignon steaks (6 oz each)
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and rosemary.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Add minced garlic and red wine, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, steam the asparagus until tender.
- Finish the steaks with butter before serving.
- Plate the steak with asparagus on the side.

- Pair with a nice red wine.
- Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
- Let the steaks rest before slicing.
