Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  6. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
  8. Let cool before decorating with icing.
  9. Mix confectioners’ sugar and milk to make the icing.
  10. Add food coloring if desired and decorate cookies.
