Description

Delicious homemade Valentine’s candies.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, cream, cocoa powder, and salt in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Add butter and vanilla extract, stir until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Pour into a greased pan and let set for 2 hours.
  6. Cut into pieces and serve.
