A delightful bouquet of cake pops perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of frosting
- 1 lb of chocolate candy melts
- Sprinkles for decoration
- Wooden sticks
- Floral foam for bouquet
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to cake mix instructions.
- Prepare cake mix as directed on the box.
- Pour batter into a baking pan and bake.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a bowl.
- Add frosting to the crumbled cake and mix well.
- Form small balls from the mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
- Chill the cake balls in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate candy melts in a microwave.
- Dip the end of each stick into melted chocolate and insert it into a cake ball.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate and let excess chocolate drip off.
- Decorate with sprinkles.
- Insert the sticks into floral foam to create a bouquet.
Notes
- Use different colors of chocolate melts for variety.
- Store in a cool place to prevent melting.
