Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Slowly stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
