Ingredients

  • 100g sourdough starter
  • 10g salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, water, sourdough starter, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 4 hours.
  4. Shape the dough into a heart and place it on a baking tray.
  5. If desired, add red food coloring to your dough.
  6. Let it proof for another 2 hours.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for 30 minutes.
  8. Cool before serving.
