Ingredients

- 4 cups diced yams
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and dice the yams.
- Boil the yams in water until tender, about 20 minutes.
- Drain and place yams in a baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour the mixture over the yams.
- Toss to coat the yams evenly.
- Top with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until marshmallows are golden.

- Use fresh yams for the best flavor.
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Can be made ahead and reheated.
