Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and patting it dry.
- Rub the turkey with salt, pepper, and softened butter.
- Stuff the turkey with prepared stuffing.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast in the oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, basting occasionally.
- Remove the foil in the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
- Cook green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Serve turkey with cranberry sauce and green beans.
- Finish the meal with pumpkin pie for dessert.
