  • 2 cups mixed dried fruits (apricots, cranberries, raisins)
  • 1 cup fresh apples, diced
  • 1 cup fresh pears, diced
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups bread cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine dried fruits, fresh apples, fresh pears, walnuts, and onion.
  3. Add bread cubes, salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme. Mix well.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Stuff the turkey with the fruit mixture.
  6. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
  7. Roast for 2.5 to 3 hours, removing the foil in the last hour.
  8. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  9. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
