- 1 whole turkey (12–14 pounds)
- 2 cups mixed dried fruits (apricots, cranberries, raisins)
- 1 cup fresh apples, diced
- 1 cup fresh pears, diced
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups bread cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine dried fruits, fresh apples, fresh pears, walnuts, and onion.
- Add bread cubes, salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme. Mix well.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the mixture and stir to combine.
- Stuff the turkey with the fruit mixture.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
- Roast for 2.5 to 3 hours, removing the foil in the last hour.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.

- Brining the turkey beforehand can enhance moisture.
