Description

Delicious strawberry trifle dessert layered with cream and cake.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup sponge cake, cubed
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/2 cup vanilla pudding

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sponge cake and let it cool.
  2. Slice the strawberries and set them aside.
  3. In a trifle dish, layer half of the sponge cake at the bottom.
  4. Spread half of the strawberry jam over the cake.
  5. Add half of the vanilla pudding on top of the jam.
  6. Add half of the whipped cream on top of the pudding.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Top with sliced strawberries and extra whipped cream.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
  • Can substitute cake with cookies for variation.
