Description
Delicious strawberry trifle dessert layered with cream and cake.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup sponge cake, cubed
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 1/2 cup vanilla pudding
Instructions
- Prepare the sponge cake and let it cool.
- Slice the strawberries and set them aside.
- In a trifle dish, layer half of the sponge cake at the bottom.
- Spread half of the strawberry jam over the cake.
- Add half of the vanilla pudding on top of the jam.
- Add half of the whipped cream on top of the pudding.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Top with sliced strawberries and extra whipped cream.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
- Can substitute cake with cookies for variation.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less jam.
