  • 3 egg yolks

  • Edible rose petals for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat until just simmering.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together egg yolks and cornstarch.
  4. Slowly pour the hot cream mixture into the egg yolks, whisking continuously.
  5. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in rose water.
