Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
  6. In a separate small bowl, combine 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Shape dough into balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
