- 3 large egg whites

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for filling)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for filling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour and powdered sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whip egg whites until frothy.
- Add cream of tartar and gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites gently.
- Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let the macarons sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, then cool completely.
- For the filling, mix softened butter, powdered sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Pipe the filling onto half of the cooled macarons and top with the other half.
