Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Mix in dry ingredients alternately with sour cream.
- Fill cupcake liners with batter.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon for topping and sprinkle on cupcakes.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.

- Store cupcakes in an airtight container.
- Add frosting for extra sweetness.
