Delicious snickerdoodle brownies with a cinnamon twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  8. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
