Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  5. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  6. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Mix 1/4 cup sugar with 1 tablespoon cinnamon, then sprinkle over the batter.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
