  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  6. Spread the batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar.
  8. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the top of the batter.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
