Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/4 cup sugar for coating
  • 1 tsp cinnamon for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, and 1 tsp cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, then blend well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the diced apples.
  7. In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon.
  8. Form dough into balls and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
