- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar

- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Roll the dough into a ball and place it on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the top with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before enjoying.
Notes
- For a chewier cookie, bake for less time.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
- You can add chocolate chips for a variation.
