A creamy and rich chowder featuring shrimp and lobster.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a pot, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add potatoes and corn, cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in seafood stock and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in shrimp and lobster, cook until shrimp are pink.
  7. Pour in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper.
  8. Heat through and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a thicker chowder, blend some of the potatoes.
  • Use fresh seafood for best flavor.
