Description

A traditional Italian feast featuring seven different seafood dishes served on Christmas Eve.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb calamari, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 lb mussels, cleaned
  • 1 lb clams, cleaned
  • 1 lb cod, cut into chunks
  • 1 lb scallops
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink.
  4. Add calamari, mussels, and clams. Cover and steam until shells open.
  5. Pour in white wine and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add cod and scallops, cooking until just opaque.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  8. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  9. Drain spaghetti and add to the seafood mixture.
  10. Toss to combine and serve hot.
