Seafood Lasagna: 5 Steps to Heavenly Comfort Food

Description

A delicious seafood lasagna layered with fresh seafood and creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound scallops
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and scallops, cooking until opaque.
  5. Stir in spinach and Italian seasoning, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce.
  7. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread ricotta cheese over noodles.
  8. Add half of the seafood mixture and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  9. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, marinara sauce, and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use any combination of seafood you like.
  • Make sure to drain excess water from spinach.
  • Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
