A simple and delicious recipe for mussels cooked in white wine, inspired by Red Lobster.

- 2 pounds fresh mussels, cleaned
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cleaned mussels to the pot.
- Cover the pot and cook until mussels open, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
- Discard any mussels that do not open.
- Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
