- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Wash and trim the green beans.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3 minutes.
- Drain the green beans and transfer them to a bowl of ice water.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the blanched green beans and season with salt and pepper.
- Sauté for 5-7 minutes until heated through.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
