- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Soak shrimp in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
- Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture.
- Fry shrimp in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

- For extra crunch, double-dip shrimp in buttermilk and flour.
