Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in cheddar cheese and green onions.
- Pour in milk and mix until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use sharp cheddar for a stronger flavor.
- Serve with melted butter brushed on top.
- They are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
