Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in cheddar cheese and green onions.
  5. In another bowl, combine milk and sour cream.
  6. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Brush melted butter mixed with garlic powder on top of biscuits.
