Description

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add flour, stirring to create a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring until smooth.
  5. Stir in cream cheese until melted.
  6. Add cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until melted and creamy.
  7. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  8. Combine cooked macaroni and cheese sauce in a large bowl.
  9. Fold in crumbled bacon.
  10. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.

  • For extra flavor, add more spices as desired.
  • Top with breadcrumbs for a crunchy texture.
