Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light.
  4. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla to the butter mixture.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
  6. Divide batter in half; add red food coloring to one half.
  7. Scoop alternate red and white batter into cupcake liners.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool completely before frosting.
  10. Decorate with buttercream frosting and cocoa powder.
