Delicious red and pink treats perfect for Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup red food coloring
  • 1/2 cup pink frosting
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla, mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour and cocoa powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Mix in red food coloring until well blended.
  7. Pour batter into a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool, then frost with pink frosting.
  10. Add sprinkles on top for decoration.
