Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

  4. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
  6. Mix in milk and vanilla.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  8. Divide the batter into two bowls. Add blue food coloring to one and leave the other white.
  9. Pour the batters into prepared pans and swirl lightly.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let the cakes cool completely before decorating.
  12. Use royal icing to create the Rangers emblem on top.
