Description

Delicious puff pastry treats for Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup of raspberry jam
  • 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into heart shapes.
  4. Place a spoonful of raspberry jam on half of the hearts.
  5. Top with another heart and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Mix powdered sugar and vanilla extract with a little water to make icing.
  9. Drizzle icing over cooled pastries.
