Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer half of the potato slices at the bottom.
  4. Sprinkle half of the onion and garlic over the potatoes.
  5. Pour half of the cream and cheese over the layer.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes until the top is golden and the potatoes are tender.
