Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the potato slices at the bottom.
- Sprinkle half of the onion and garlic over the potatoes.
- Pour half of the cream and cheese over the layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 45 minutes until the top is golden and the potatoes are tender.
