Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 225°F (107°C).
- In a clean bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
- Add peppermint and vanilla extracts, then gently fold in crushed peppermint candies.
- Drop spoonfuls of meringue onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 1 hour or until dry and crisp.
- Turn off the oven and let cookies cool inside for an hour.
