Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Additional powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Form the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Allow cookies to cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar.
  9. Let them cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • Can substitute walnuts for pecans if preferred.
