Peanut butter oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth.
  4. Mix in the rolled oats, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container.
  • Can substitute almond butter for a different flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
