- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and softened butter until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar gradually and mix until fully incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each peanut butter ball halfway into the melted chocolate.
- Place dipped balls back on the baking sheet and let them cool until chocolate hardens.
Notes
- Store buckeyes in an airtight container.
- They can be refrigerated for up to two weeks.
- Adjust the thickness of the chocolate coating to your preference.
