Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Rinse the split peas under cold water.
  2. In a large pot, combine split peas, ham hock, onion, carrots, celery, broth, water, and bay leaf.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  5. Remove the ham hock, shred the meat, and return it to the pot.
