A delicious overnight cinnamon apple baked French toast casserole that is easy to prepare and perfect for breakfast.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of French bread, cubed
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Add the cubed French bread and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and melted butter.
- Drizzle the brown sugar mixture over the casserole.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) the next day.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Can substitute other fruits if desired.
- Serve with maple syrup or whipped cream.
- Make sure to cover the dish tightly before refrigerating.
