Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Red food coloring
  • Pink food coloring

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  4. Divide the batter into three bowls.
  5. Add red food coloring to one bowl, pink to another, and leave the third plain.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Pour a small amount of each color batter onto the skillet, using a circular motion.
  8. Cook until bubbles form, then flip to cook the other side.
  9. Stack the pancakes in ombre order, from dark to light.
