- 4 large egg whites
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add granulated sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Mix in vanilla, cornstarch, and vinegar.
- Spread the meringue onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let it cool inside.
- Whip the cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Top the cooled meringue with whipped cream and mixed berries.
Notes
- Store leftover pavlova in an airtight container.
- Use fresh berries for best flavor.
- Can be made a day ahead and assembled before serving.
