A delicious twist on the classic Wellington using lobster.


Ingredients

  • 1 large lobster tail, cooked and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  4. Add mushrooms, cook until moisture evaporates.
  5. Stir in lobster, parsley, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  6. Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.
  7. Place filling in the center of each square.
  8. Fold pastry over and seal edges.
  9. Brush with beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Serve with a side salad.
  • Use fresh lobster for best flavor.
