Description
Lobster stock is a flavorful broth made from lobster shells and vegetables.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds lobster shells
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 10 cups water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Rinse the lobster shells under cold water.
- In a large pot, add the lobster shells, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, and bay leaf.
- Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Strain the stock through a fine mesh sieve.
- Season with salt to taste.
Notes
- Store stock in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Freeze stock for up to 3 months.
