A simple and delicious method to prepare boiled lobster.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 live lobsters (1.5 lbs each)
- 4 quarts of water
- 1/4 cup of sea salt
- 1 lemon, halved
- 4 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with 4 quarts of water.
- Add sea salt and lemon halves to the water.
- Bring the water to a rolling boil.
- Carefully add the lobsters to the pot headfirst.
- Cover the pot and return to a boil.
- Boil lobsters for 12-15 minutes until bright red.
- Remove lobsters and let drain for a few minutes.
- Serve with melted butter.
