Ingredients

- 1 pound lobster meat
- 1 cup grits
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil water in a pot.
- Add grits and stir well.
- Reduce heat and cook until thick, about 20 minutes.
- In a separate pan, melt butter and add lobster meat.
- Cook lobster until heated through.
- Stir in heavy cream and cheese into the grits.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Top grits with lobster mixture before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, use seafood stock instead of water.
