Description

A festive lamington wreath made of coconut-covered sponge cake, chocolate icing, and filled with cream.


Ingredients

  • 200 grams of sponge cake
  • 200 grams of dark chocolate
  • 100 ml of coconut milk
  • 150 grams of desiccated coconut
  • 300 ml of whipped cream
  • 1 tablespoon of icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Prepare the sponge cake and allow it to cool completely.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate with coconut milk in a bowl.
  4. Cut the sponge cake into strips and dip them in the chocolate mixture.
  5. Roll the chocolate-covered sponge in desiccated coconut.
  6. Shape the coated sponge into a wreath on a serving plate.
  7. Whip cream with icing sugar and pipe it onto the wreath.
  8. Chill the wreath for at least 1 hour before serving.
