Delicious pecan pie bars with a buttery crust and a rich filling.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and granulated sugar to form a dough.
- Press the dough into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla.
- Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Add a dollop of whipped cream for extra flavor.
