Description

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon flavored extract (such as cherry or strawberry)
  • Food coloring (red or pink)
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Stop stirring and let the mixture boil until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  4. Remove from heat and add flavored extract and food coloring.
  5. Pour the mixture into heart-shaped molds and insert lollipop sticks.
  6. Let cool completely before removing from molds.
