Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon flavored extract (such as cherry or strawberry)
- Food coloring (red or pink)
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Stop stirring and let the mixture boil until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat and add flavored extract and food coloring.
- Pour the mixture into heart-shaped molds and insert lollipop sticks.
- Let cool completely before removing from molds.
Notes
- Use a candy thermometer for accurate temperature.
- Ensure molds are completely dry before pouring the mixture.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
