Description
Gingerbread syrup adds a festive flavor to your coffee.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugars dissolve.
- Add the ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Strain the syrup into a bottle or jar.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
