Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine molasses, melted butter, milk, and egg.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
